Despite the recent crisis of Chinese technology giant Huawei, recent figures indicate that the company is making significant progress in terms of sales.
Huawei said its global sales rose by two-digit levels in the first half of this year, despite u.S. restrictions, but said it would face more difficult conditions.
Sales in the first six months of this year increased by 23.2 percent compared to the previous year, to 401.3 billion yuan ($58.3 billion), she said Tuesday.
This was up from the growth rate in 2018 of 19.5 percent.
The company's chairman, Liang Hua, said sales have had "some impact" since President Donald Trump's administration imposed restrictions in May on U.S. technology sales to Huawei, without elaborating.
"We are still having difficulties in the second half of the year," Liang said.
The Trump administration has blacklisted the company, preventing it from working with U.S. technology companies such as Alphabet, which uses its operating system for Huawei phones.
